Since 1912 the Osborn family has tended the 19th century vineyards at their d'Arenberg winery in South Australia, land originally cleared using the stump jump plough, an Australian invention that enabled this piece of ingenious farm equipment to "jump" over stubborn, hard-to-clear eucalyptus roots.
This lovely red wine is 75 percent Grenache, 20 percent Shiraz and 5 percent Mouvedre, a nice Rhone-style blend that works well with game, cheese and a variety of other foods.
