9 a.m. -- Atomic Testing Museum Changing Exhibit Gallery featuring the Francis Gary Powers U-2 incident. Exhibit showing through June 30. Sponsored by Bechtel Nevada Co. and Nevada Humanities.
1 p.m. -- Conversation with Francis Gary Powers Jr. and Brown University professor Sergei Khrushchev, son of late Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev. Moderator: Ambassador William Courtney.
2 p.m. -- Book signing: "Nikita Khrushchev and the Creation of a Superpower" by Sergei Khrushchev.
3 p.m. -- Nevada premiere of "The Cold War and Beyond," a film by James Thebaut. Sponsored by KLVX, Channel 10 and BWXT
7 p.m. -- Lecture by Sergei Khrushchev: "Cold War Warriors: Eisenhower-Khrushchev-Kennedy." Sponsored by Kellogg Brown and Root and Nevada Humanities.
8 p.m. -- Book signing: "Nikita Khrushchev and the Creation of a Superpower."
