Recently, Bush's top economic adviser said that outsourcing U.S. jobs was good for the economy. Perhaps the following will explain why he thought so.
The top outsourcers are: American Express -- contributions to the GOP, $442,000. Bechtel -- contributions to the GOP, $465,000. Convergys -- contributions to the GOP, $5,000. Dell Computers -- contributions to the GOP, $794,000. Fidelity -- contributions to the GOP, $574,000. Ford Motor Co. -- contributions to the GOP, $268,000. General Electric -- contributions to the GOP, $757,000. Hewlett Packard -- contributions to the GOP, $29,000. Sallie Mae -- contributions to the GOP, $261,000.
And Bush says that John Kerry caters to the special interests? Give me a break.
