Veteran oddsmaker Jimmy Vaccaro advanced to the second round of the $10,000 Stardust Invitational handicapping tournament Friday by ousting Vinnie Magliulo, race and sports book director for Wynn Las Vegas, which is scheduled to open next year.
Vaccaro went 6-1 against the spread. Magliulo was 4-3.
At 9 p.m. this Friday at the Stardust, sports betting consultant Cesar Robaina takes on Pete White.
