T.S. Monk Band

The T.S. Monk Band will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Clark County Government Center Ampitheater, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway, as part of the Clark County Parks and Community Services' "Jazz in the Park" series. Admission is free. 455-8200.

Benefit

Singer/songwriter Julianne Carmody will perform a benefit for Sunrise Children's Foundation at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at It's Yoga Las Vegas, 4634 S. Maryland Parkway. Admission is $10. 798-9642.

Amy Lowe

National award-winning singer/songwriter Amy Lowe will perform at the following venues this week:

SpellCasters

Blues band the SpellCasters will perform from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Ansan Sister City Park at Ducharme Avenue, west of Buffalo and Alta drives. Admission is free. 229-4614.

LoveShack

North Las Vegas presents the a "Beach Party" featuring the band LoveShack from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Silver Mesa Activity Pool, 4095 Allen Lane. Admission is free. 633-2418.

Musical tribute

The West Las Vegas Arts Center, 947 W. Lake Mead Blvd., presents a musical tribute to musician Adelaide Robbins from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. 229-4800.

The District at Green Valley Ranch continues its concert series with the following performances this week:

6 p.m. to 10 p.m. today -- David "The Saxman" Brown, featuring contemporary and R&B music.

Theater

'Motherland'

"Notes to the Motherland," a one-man play written and performed by Paul Rajeckas, will be performed at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Reed Whipple Cultural Center, 821 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 on performance day. 229-6211.

'Die Fledermaus'

Nevada Opera Theatre presents "Die Fledermaus" at 8 p.m. Saturday at UNLV's Artemus Ham Hall. Tickets are $20, $30, $40 and $50. 895-2787.

'Terabithia'
