Thomas G. Barnett

Thomas G. Barnett, 85, of Pahrump died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 10, 1920, in Montana. A resident for 10 years, he was a cabinetmaker and an Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Russell and Roy; one daughter, Florence; and one grandchild.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.

Bobby Bouldin

Bobby Bouldin, 74, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 5, 1930, in Chillicothe, Texas. A resident for 12 years, he was a miner.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma; four sons, Kent Bouldin and Russell Bouldin, both of Las Vegas, Randy Bouldin of Ruidoso, N.M., and Richard Bouldin of Lubbock, Texas; four daughters, Janalyn Ferguson of Minden, Jody Davis of Copper Canyon, Texas, Andrea Stephens of Lubbock and Tanya Morgan of Las Vegas; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Christ the King Catholic Church,

4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Linda M. Griffin

Linda M. Griffin, 57, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 1, 1948, in Mulberry, Fla. A resident for 20 years, she was an office manager at a bank.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Busbee of Pahrump; three daughters, Renee Mulligan, Brandy Kuntz and Jennifer Heck, all of Las Vegas; two sons, Madison Busbee of Pahrump and John Busbee of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon until a 2 p.m. service Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.

Richard C. Hunkins Sr.

Richard C. Hunkins Sr., 72, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 23, 1932, in Laconia, N.H. A resident for 42 years, he was a retired city government supervisor, a Korean War veteran and member of the Army National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Marion; three daughters, Rosemary Gsell of Deer Isle, Maine, Bonny-Jean Melchor of Las Vegas and Gail Barrett of Cromwell, Ind.; 22 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today and noon until a 3 p.m. service Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

The family suggests donations to St. Joseph's Indian School, P.O. Box 100, Chamberlain, SD 57325.

Linda Ann Jestings

Linda Ann Jestings, 57, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 16, 1947, in Massachusetts. A resident for 15 years, she was a casino floor manager.

She is survived by two daughters, Heather Smith and Ann Marie O'Hanlon; her parents, John and Lavonia O'Hanlon; four brothers, John O'Hanlon, Michael O'Hanlon, Robert O'Hanlon and William O'Hanlon; two sisters, Peggy Smith and Patricia Gauvin; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Raymond C. Linschoten

Raymond C. Linschoten, 73, of Kingman, Ariz., died Wednesday in Kingman. He was born June 20, 1931. A former Las Vegas resident, he was a driver for E&H Distributing and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Susan J. Linschoten of Long Beach, Calif.; two sons, Mike Linschoten and Scott Linschoten; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Wilma McKinley

Wilma McKinley, 98, of Henderson died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 2, 1906, in Chapel Hill, Ark. A resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Donald McKinley of Pioneer, Calif., and Kenneth McKinley of Henderson; one half-sister, Vondel Tucker of Broken Bow, Okla; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling private arrangements.

James David Newsham

James David Newsham, 32, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born June 29, 1972, in Nevada. He was a parts manager.

He is survived by one son, Matthew; one daughter, Cecilia; and one sister, Tammi.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 3 p.m. memorial service Tuesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Phillip Oliver Jr.

Phillip Oliver Jr., 59, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born June 3, 1945, in Streator, Ill. A resident for 35 years, he was a bartender in the gaming industry.

He is survived by one son, Phillip Oliver III, his mother, Elsie Kolojay, and two brothers, Gregory Oliver and Louis Oliver, all of Las Vegas.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Michael 'Shawn' Raney

Michael "Shawn" Raney, 40, of Las Vegas died March 1 in Arizona. He was born Aug. 6, 1964, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a masonry helper, a member of the Bigalow Club, Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Lamountain; two daughters, Meaghan Lamountain and Maria Lamountain, one son, Michael Raney, and his mother, Edithe Raney, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Dougliss Raney and Don Warner, both of Michigan; three sisters, Kay Warner and Caroline Raney, both of Michigan, and Terri Raney of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

A memorial service is pending. Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, 21 Riviera Blvd., Lake Havasu City, Ariz., handled arrangements.

Howard W. Schomisch

Howard W. Schomisch, 87, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born March 21, 1917, in Appleton, Wis. A resident for two years, he was a retired civil service employee in Mequon, Wis., a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Holy Name Society, American Legion, Lions Club and Catholic Order of Foresters.

He is survived by one daughter, Gail Schomisch of Henderson; one son, Jeff Schomisch of Landover Hills, Md.; and three grandchildren.
