Related Las Vegas claimed to be "very bullish" on downtown when it bailed on the 61 acres. But Related no longer is interested in a prime parcel on Las Vegas Boulevard. And that may be good news for Mayor Oscar Goodman's bullish family. Seems mayoral son Ross Goodman is trying to sell two pieces next to the city land for $5.6 million. But one of those parcels isn't quite his -- he is trying through court action to wrest it from an 86-year-old woman. No worries, though. There's another octogenarian to muscle who owns land on the other side of The Family Plot. Goodman the Younger has coveted that parcel, too. With the city land going out to bid, the area could become The Family Block.
