Letter writer Madelyn Olds is perplexed ("What has Bush done to deserve approval?" Aug. 26) by those who still approve of President Bush's performance. She writes that such approval "defies rational thought and awareness in arriving at a judgment."
Ms. Olds has made a grave error in assuming that such people are aware of current events and actually use rational thought.
