Assembly Speaker Barbara Buckley, D-Las Vegas, was misidentified in Tuesday's edition as Assembly majority leader.

A story in the Sun on Monday incorrectly reported that K12 Inc., an online learning company based in Herndon, Va., was a wholly owned subsidiary of Knowledge Universe, an education holding company. In fact, K12 is owned by several investors, none of which holds a majority share. The story also incorrectly reported that Nevada pays K12 $5,200 for every student enrolled. That payment actually goes to the Nevada Virtual Academy, whose expenses include instructional costs and facilities and payment of $2,800 per student to K12 for online curriculum.
