Metro Police auto theft investigators are at the scene of a vehicle chop shop operation near Nellis Air Force Base.
Authorities said the operation is thought to be reponsible for several auto thefts in the Las Vegas area. The two-story building that housed the operation is at Cheyenne Avenue and Nellis Boulevard.
"It's a pretty big recovery," police spokesman Jay Rivera said.
