Metro Police released a surveillance video image today of a man wanted in connection with a robbery earlier this month.
Authorities said the man approached the victim at about 11:15 a.m. on Aug. 7 in a parking lot in the area of Desert Inn and Maryland Parkway. The victim was at the trunk of his vehicle, then the suspect exited a store and approached the victim from behind.
The suspect grabbed the victim, displayed a gun, demanded money, then left with the money, police said.
The robber was described as black, about 30 to 35 years old and 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8 inches tall. He was wearing white pants and a white shirt, police said.
Anyone with information on the man's identity is asked to call the Metro Police Robbery Section or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
