flashpoint:

Nevada delegation’s MVP

Wed, Aug 27, 2008 (2 a.m.)

It’s only halfway through the Democratic National Convention, and while there still may be debate over who comes out looking good, there is no doubt whom the Nevada delegation would vote for as its MVP. Natalie Okeson, daughter of uberlobbyist turned developer Harvey Whittemore and his nonpareil wife, Annette Whittemore, already has won the award. And she has not been just valuable, she has been invaluable. If anyone — delegate, alternate, guest, media — needs anything, she gets it. She is the first one at the delegation breakfasts and the last to leave, leaving no request unattended. And she is preternaturally sunny and bright, with nary a bad word for anyone, which tells me all her genes came from her mother.
