FINAL:

-- Palo Verde washed out Reno High, 56-0.

-- Basic gave a solid showing over Boulder City, winning 48-20. Basic jumped to a 27-0 lead in the first quarter, helped by Justin Burdno's two interceptions returned for a touchdown. The first interception was with six minutes, 49 seconds to play in the first quarter and the second one was with 5:37 remaining. At 2:44 left in the first, Burdno caught a 14-yard pass from Robby Faiman to solidify the lead. Boulder City was unable to make up that much ground and lost the game.

-- With no change in score since the second quarter, Green Valley defeated Bonanza, 14-13.

-- In a solid showing against Service, Alaska, Bishop Gorman’s defense only allowed 113 yards in pitching a 24-0 shutout. Gorman running back Kawika Antolin rushed for 118 yards.

-- Silverado’s Michael Wadsworth dominated the second half with two interceptions and a 47-yard touchdown run to defeat Desert Pines 28-0.

-- Cimarron-Memorial's Stephen Nixon was the game’s top rusher, but his two touchdowns and 15 rushes for 115 yards weren’t enough to lead the Spartans to victory over Dixie, a team from St. George, Utah. Cimarron fell to Dixie, 35-21.

-- Coronado broke the tie in the third and managed to keep its lead through the end of the game, winning 23-14 against Clark.
