Nevada is definitely a battleground state

If you wondered whether this is just hype about Nevada’s being a battleground state, wonder no more after the Democratic National Convention. The state had great seats on the floor, almost at the front of the hall, with a great view of the stage. And at Invesco Field, the state was just as close, almost close enough to shake hands with Barack Obama. Various Obama operatives talked up the registration changes in the state and the heretofore hibernating Hispanic vote. Poll results released during the convention showed Obama with a 5-point lead in the state. And one operative said the candidate should return three or four times. We have arrived.
