Last week the U.S. Census released demographic estimates for American counties and cities with as few as 20,000 residents. It's a first glimpse at changes that have taken place since 2000 in the larger rural Nevada counties and Carson City. The table shows changes in age, educational attainment, diversity and wealth, and the maps highlight the counties that have experienced the largest increases in each.
