Memo to the governor: Your troubles are approaching critical mass. How do I know this? Because in the space of a few hours Tuesday, I received inquiries from two national media outlets wondering about your personal and political disasters. One wondered whether you would make it through your term and wanted to know whether John McCain had weighed in, presumably meaning whether the presumptive GOP nominee wanted to help usher out a liability in a critical state. Another well-read media source wanted all manner of details of your very public divorce and wanted to know how to get in touch with the first lady. This reporter seemed very keen on doing something on this. Critical mass or on the critical list? I wonder.
