Letter to the editor:

I won’t forget your inaction, Washington

Tue, Jun 10, 2008 (2:01 a.m.)

Knock, knock. Hello, Washington, may I come in?

I don’t know whether you remember me, but I am a middle-class American who is having difficulty making ends meet. I know you are busy running all over the world helping other people and telling them how to live their lives, but can’t you take a few minutes out of counting your oil stock dividends and deal with the energy problems we are faced with?

I have come to realize one important fact that I will deal with when it comes election time. We need a clean sweep in Washington. I don’t know whose side you are on, but you are not on my side. Washington has forgotten the American people. I will remember you at election time.
