Letter to the editor:

Obama didn’t buy Bush’s propaganda

Fri, May 30, 2008 (2:02 a.m.)

Do you want a president who is gullible and susceptible to being conned or a president who sees through the propaganda and makes a choice based on reality, not peer pressure?

Sen. John McCain not only bought into the propaganda being distributed from the White House six years ago but continues to support a flawed policy that has resulted in thousands of deaths, billions of dollars spent and the destruction of a country.

Sen. Barack Obama, on the other hand, did not go for the White House sales pitch then and has throughout the past six years continued to criticize the decision.

President Bush’s former press secretary, Scott McClellan, a loyal Bush supporter, has said in his book that Bush and his colleagues misled us into war.

McClellan describes a well-orchestrated campaign to sell the war to America. He now says the war was not necessary.

Who is your choice? McCain or Obama?
