North Las Vegas Police are looking for an armed man who robbed a bank this morning near the northern edge of the Las Vegas Valley.

Authorities said the man wore a ski mask as he entered U.S. Bank, 6475 Aliante Parkway, at about 10:50 a.m. and pointed a silver and black semi-automatic handgun at a bank teller. The man then demanded money, police said.

The robber left the area with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He was described as black, about 6-foot to 6-foot-2, weighing about 250 pounds with a black hoodie, white T-shirt and black pants.

Anyone with information about the bank robbery is being asked to call CrimeStoppers at 385-5555. Cash rewards of up to $2,000 are offered to anyone who provides information leading to an arrest.
