What a difference a year—and a little public awareness—makes! Metro proudly announced this week that auto thefts are down a whopping 32 percent from the same time last year, and while much of that can be attributed to Metro’s being hyper-vigilant, a good deal of credit goes to the person reading this magazine. You’re finally locking your doors and shutting your car off while you run into the gas station. Good looking out.
Still no word on how much of an increase in gasoline theft there’s been in the last year ...
