Lynne Cheney was on MSNBC on Thursday morning promoting her new children’s book, “ We the People,” a children’s story of the making of our Constitution.
I’m serious when I say the book will be one of the gifts for our young grandchildren this Christmas. One of Ms. Cheney’s previous books sits prominently on our coffee table.
Her works are an inspiration to children and adults. What’s sad is that she didn’t write her book about the Constitution until now.
Had her husband and George W. had a chance (when they took office) to read the pages and look at the pictures, I’m sure they would not have plundered the tenets and spirit of this cherished document as they have over the past eight years.
