Las Vegas visitors are one step closer to a glimpse inside Cirque du Soleil’s latest creation.

Tickets for “Viva Elvis” went on sale to the general public today with the first performances beginning Friday. Set at the new Aria Resort & Casino within CityCenter, “Viva Elvis” takes guests on a trip through Elvis Presley’s life and music.

Preview performances will run though Jan. 28, the period when the creative team is in the final stages of production. Tickets will be sold at a 25 percent discount with prices ranging from $86 to $149.

Following the preview performances, regular performances will be priced at $99 to $175, making “Viva Elvis” the most expensive of Cirque’s seven resident Las Vegas shows.

The show will run Fridays through Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. and again at 9:30 p.m. in the Elvis Theater in Aria. The show will be dark Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Cirque du Soleil partnered with CKX, Inc. and its subsidiary Elvis Presley Enterprises to create "Viva Elvis."

Tickets are available on the "Viva Elvis" Web site.
