If consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, The Man Formerly Known as Governor is a genius. On Wednesday, Ø declared he would accept federal stimulus money for unemployment insurance. But on March 16 he sneered: “Just four weeks, just four weeks of unemployment insurance from the federal government with the requirement that we permanently divest ourselves ...” And on March 4 he lambasted Nevada’s House Democrats for criticizing him for his apparent position against the money: “As it is, these two are now griping about an unemployment program that doesn’t have federal strings attached, it has federal chains attached, I will not sell out our State’s sovereignty.” He had no use for the old ball and chain. But now he does?
