Many people who walk through the lobby of the Bellagio Hotel and Casino admire and stop to take photos of the Fiori di Como, a three-dimensional glass sculpture of flowers in bloom on the ceiling.

Soon, more work by the artist, Dale Chihuly, will be featured in Las Vegas in the new CityCenter.

Chihuly at CityCenter will have its debut on Dec. 4 within The Gallery area in Crystals retail and entertainment district.

The presentation, spanning 4,350 square feet, will feature a diverse representation of Chihuly's sculptures, drawings, editions and prints.

The exhibition will highlight a number of Chihuly's important works including turquoise reeds and birch logs in the Nuutajarvi Installation, the Lime Green Icicle Tower and an indigo-blue neon sculpture.

The artist's new Silvered Venetian series, marking his first application of silver as a base color, will also be on view. Visitors will also see Chihuly's popular series works, drawings, (both on paper and acrylic) and studio editions, limited edition prints, books and videos.

The gallery is among a collection of luxury retailers and restaurateurs that will be found within Crystals, a 500,000-square-foot retail, dining and entertainment district.

Hours of operation for the Gallery will be from 10 a.m. to midnight daily. For sales information, the Gallery can be reached at 702-590-8741.
