The Las Vegas Wranglers released four players Monday, including ECHL All-Star center Justin Taylor.
Taylor notched 30 points in 36 regular season games with the Wranglers last season and earned a trip to the 2009 ECHL All-Star game. He also added two goals and four assists in 15 Kelly Cup playoff games last year.
Along with Taylor, the Wranglers cut forwards John Morea, Gabriel Andre and Matt Whitehead.
Andre and Whitehead are now both unrestricted free agents.
Opening day rosters are due to the ECHL at noon Wednesday.
The Wranglers start the season at home against Utah at 7 p.m. Friday.
