Las Vegas High's super sophomores struck again in the team’s 58-12 victory against Eldorado on Friday.
Sophomore quarterback Hasaan Henderson threw for 188 yards and four touchdowns on 14-for-21 passing. Sophomore running back Farrel Victor ran the ball only nine times but had 190 yards and three touchdowns.
Las Vegas improved to 6-1 on the season, while Eldorado fell to 1-7.
Despite the lopsided victory, Las Vegas coach Chris Faircloth wasn’t ready to say he felt comfortable with where his team was heading into the playoffs. He’ll wait until next week’s showdown with Desert Pines (6-3) to determine that.
“We’ll have a lot better feel where we’re at next week with Desert Pines to see where it all fits,” Faircloth said. “I’m not going to go out on a limb and say we feel real confident yet. We’ll see.”
