The Injured Police Officers Fund and SONIO'S Café and Rotisserie are teaming up to help needy school children in the Las Vegas Valley.
The IPOF will be at SONIO'S Café and Rotisserie, 3900 W. Charleston Blvd., from noon to 7 p.m. Friday providing school supplies on a first-come, first-serve basis to families in need, Metro Police said.
A drop box will be available for anyone who wishes to donate extra jackets, blankets, backpacks and other school supplies. Food, games, a car show, raffles and special guests also will be featured at the event.
