Tonight’s Donny and Marie show at the Flamingo has been canceled, following the death of Marie Osmond’s teenage son, Michael Blosil, on Friday night in Los Angeles.
"My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time,” Marie Osmond said today in a statement released this afternoon.
Blosil died after jumping from his apartment about 9 p.m., according to Entertainment Tonight.
Marie Osmond, who has eight children, began a headline act with her brother Donnie at the Flamingo in Sept. 2008. Last July, the Flamingo announced that the Osmonds’ contract was extended through October 2012.
