Crash location

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal collision Saturday morning at the interchange of U.S. 95 and U.S. 93 near Boulder City.

A 79-year-old woman died in the crash, which happened shortly after 7:30 a.m., Trooper Chelita Rojas said. Four others were taken to a hospital.

A Chevrolet Tahoe, which was southbound on U.S. 93, failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with a Cadillac Escalade, Rojas said. The Escalade was northbound on U.S. 95 and approaching the U.S. 95-U.S. 93 interchange at the time of the wreck.

The woman who died was a passenger in the Escalade, Rojas said. Her identity will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s office.

Both drivers and two 8-year-old girls were taken to a hospital, Rojas said. Their conditions weren't immediately available.
