Las Vegas Weekly is sporting a new hunk of glass today, thanks to a win at the 2010 Editor & Publisher Awards. The magazine’s website was named the Best Regional Magazine-Affiliated Website at the EPpy Awards, which honor the best examples of online journalism in North America.
The Greenspun Media Group won four awards at today’s ceremony at the Hard Rock Hotel — a tie with NPR.com for the most of any media company in the country. Three EPpys went to LasVegasSun.com in the categories of Best News Website with fewer than 1 million unique monthly visitors, Best Use of Video in a Media-Affiliated Website and Best Web Special Feature - Enterprise in the same size category.
This is LasVegasWeekly.com’s second EPpy Award in two years. In 2009, the site was named the Best Entertainment Website with fewer than one million unique monthly visitors. Which is to say, this isn’t our first hunk of glass.
