Regarding Pam Price’s June 13 letter to the editor, headlined “Great head of state can be paralyzed by obstructionism”:
She laments the fact that President Barack Obama has been stymied by “Republican obstructionism” and information from “certain extremist, right-wing commentaries.” When will people quit blaming Republicans for everything?
The Democrats control the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives. Yet they aren’t very successful because the man at the top (Obama) does not have a clue about how to lead or govern. All he knows how to do is to campaign and make speeches — and that is wearing ever so thin.
The U.S. electorate was warned time and again of Obama’s dubious resume and his lack of any real governing skills, but he was elected anyway. I hope we can elect a better person for the job next time.
