Motor home fire

Northbound U.S. 95 was closed for about 45 minutes this afternoon just south of Cheyenne Avenue after a motor home caught fire.

The Nevada Highway Patrol got a call at 4:13 p.m. from a motorist reporting that a motor home -- which was pulling an SUV on a trailer -- was on fire, Trooper Chelita Rojas said.

The driver of the motor home pulled over near Cheyenne Avenue, where fire crews extinguished the flames. Two lanes were reopened by 5 p.m., Rojas said.

No one was injured in the fire and the southbound lanes weren't affected, Rojas said.
