The pronuclear dump crowd must be avid subscribers to my e-mail newsletter “RalstonFlash.” I say this because of the response I received after I sent out notification Wednesday that the administration was about to withdraw the Yucca license application before the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. I facetiously asked, considering how many times funerals have been held, “Is it dead yet?” The cries of “not yet” immediately began to pour in from dump advocates, who talked of lawsuits and the lengthy process, etc. Hey, folks, it was humor! (But it is dead.)
