Joni Peru has been named vice president of sales for Tropicana Las Vegas.
Peru is responsible for convention sales and services, catering and audio visual for the hotel-casino.
The Tropicana said Peru previously was the director of sales and national sales manager for the Mirage hotel-casino, where she worked for six years.
She also was assistant director of sales, sales manager and senior convention services manager at New York-New York.
Peru is a member of MPI - Meeting Professionals International and SITE - Society of Incentive Travel Executives.
