The Henderson Chamber of Commerce will host its 20th annual “Swing for Success” Golf Classic on Monday to benefit Nevada State College.
Golfers are invited to Anthem Country Club, 1 Club Side Drive, starting at 7:30 a.m. Proceeds from the event will support Nevada State College and the Henderson Chamber.
“The annual ‘Swing for Success’ is a fun way to raise money to support education,” outgoing chamber president and CEO Alice Martz said in a statement. “Education should always be a top priority for businesses. Without an educated workforce, business suffers.”
Local businesses are invited to sponsor and participate in the tournament. Sponsorship opportunities range from $3,000 to upwards of $10,000. Sponsorship for contests, such as longest drive and closest to the flag pin, costs $1,200 each.
Entry to the event costs $900 for a team of four and $225 for individual players, and includes the green fee, cart, practice balls, on-course contests, a tee gift package, breakfast and an award luncheon.
