Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Carrie Underwood are coming to Fremont Street. Kind of. Rather, their bedazzled, male counterparts are headed Downtown. After a two-year hiatus, An Evening at La Cage reopens its drag show doors with a new location and some new talent. Gone is longtime headliner Frank Marino (he now stars in Divas Las Vegas at Imperial Palace). In his place is Jimmy Emerson, the comedian and impressionist who served as his backup in the show’s previous incarnation.

The Details

An Evening at La Cage
Wednesday-Sunday, 9 p.m.

In fact, many of the divas—both the performers and their look-alikes—remain from the show’s days at the Riviera. A handful are new.

At 24 years old, La Cage was one of the longest-running productions in Vegas before stagnant ticket sales forced its closure. Producers hope the new version doesn’t meet the same fate.
