My understanding is that the Libyan military campaign could cost the United States an estimated $100 million a week. We have frozen Libyan funds in the amount of $33 billion.
I would think the Libyans would not object to paying the costs of our campaign in return for freedom. I think our unemployed would appreciate getting another $100 million a week.
