Orange wedges, weekly $5 bet and Patriot respect
Las Vegas Sun sports reporters Ray Brewer and Case Keefer take a look around the Las Vegas high school football scene. They give their picks for the upcoming week and discuss the merits of eating orange wedges on long gameday road trips.

Las Vegas High quarterback Hasaan Henderson accounted for four touchdowns Thursday night and Kivon Rhone had three interceptions in a 61-18 victory against visiting Chaparral.
Henderson passed for 261 yards and three touchdowns and added a rushing touchdown for the undefeated Wildcats. They are one of two undefeated large-school classification teams in Southern Nevada.
“We played good. We executed well,” Las Vegas High coach James Thurman said. “The kids blocked and tackled. They just executed.”
Rhone returned one of his interceptions for a touchdown, while Vince Castro passed for and caught a touchdown. Mike Melanson and Aaraon Zanin each had receiving touchdowns, while Farrell Victorrushed for 97 yards and a score.
