Fatal accident
The Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified the 56-year-old man who died in a single-vehicle accident Thursday morning on U.S. 95 near Durango Drive.
Emmet Palmer, of Las Vegas, was killed when the pickup truck he was driving veered off a highway shoulder and rolled into a drainage ditch. The accident happened at 7:13 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway.
Palmer was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.
The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating.
