Observed in a Target parking lot: proof positive that Ron Paul’s libertarian supporters really have no idea of what their support would entail — a late model American sedan, bearing a “Ron Paul for President” sticker, parked in a handicapped space.
Apparently the owner didn’t realize that the Americans with Disabilities Act — certainly government intrusion into our individual rights to park where we will (to the strong go the spoils) — was the mechanism that gave him/her that space close to the store’s entrance.
When will people stop voting against their own self-interests? Maybe when they start actually reading to find out what lies behind the slogans they hear on TV.
