Metro Police are asking the public’s help to identify a man suspected of committing two robberies in the northeast valley. Police said the first incident occurred Dec. 21 outside a business near Sloan Lane and Sahara Avenue. The man allegedly stole a female victim’s property and threatened to hurt her, police said. Two weeks later, police said the same suspect entered a business in the 4900 block of Charleston Boulevard, where he allegedly produced a weapon and stole property. He then fled the area. Authorities described him as a black male who is in his late 20s or early 30s and is about 5-feet-10-inches tall and 260 to 280 pounds. He has a goatee, stud earrings and was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, black hooded sweatshirt and dark-rimmed glasses, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call Metro’s robbery section at (702) 828-3591 or, to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or visit www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
