Police seek suspect in northeast valley robbery

Metro Police are asking the public’s help identify a man who allegedly robbed a business Thursday in the northeast valley.

Police said the man entered the business Thursday evening near Nellis Boulevard and Vegas Valley Drive, where he allegedly approached an employee armed with a handgun and demanded money. No information on the business was released.

The suspect fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Authorities described him as a white man, 45 to 50 years old, with a medium build and black and gray hair. He is about 5-feet-8-inches to 5-feet-10-inches tall.

Police said he was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and dark pants.
