Regarding the recent letters about lobbyists and political influence:
Blaming lobbyists for partisan government is like blaming the devil for sin. The lobbyist and the devil are just doing what they do. It’s the Congress, you and I who do the sinning. So to lecture Sheldon Adelson for buying political favors is misdirected. The blame goes to those who sell it.
