More Republican hypocrisy:
Mitch McConnell 2010: “The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.”
Mitch McConnell 2012: President Obama’s “goal isn’t to conquer the nation’s problems. It’s to conquer Republicans.”
Apparently it’s OK if the Republican’s most important goal is to conquer Obama rather than the nation’s problems. Now, according to McConnell, the shoe’s on the other foot. The Republican attitude is, of course, completely antithetical to the Golden Rule.
To put it more simply, what’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.
