The man who leapt to his death Thursday afternoon from the Hoover Dam bypass bridge has been identified as North Las Vegas resident Jacob Gerard Foreman

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation recovered Foreman’s body. He is the third person known to commit suicide by jumping off the bridge, which opened in 2010. Patricia Oakley, 60, San Jose, Calif., was the first to jump on April 7, 2012.
