North Las Vegas Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a suspect in the robbery of a Walgreens store earlier this month.
The robbery occurred at about 7:30 p.m. on July 5 at the pharmacy at 565 East Centennial Parkway, police said.
A woman entered the store and gave pharmacy employees a note demanding prescription pain medications, police said. She may have had a gun in her waistband but did not use it in the robbery, police said.
After the woman received some pills from an employee, she fled the scene in a white Jeep Compass, police said.
The suspect is white, between 5 feet 3 and 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 140 pounds. She was last scene wearing a black, long-sleeve shirt, black pants, a beanie, black gloves and large sunglasses. She may have a scar on her right cheek.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the North Las Vegas Police Department at (702) 633-9111 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
