A man in a wheelchair died after being struck by what Metro Police officials believe to be a Toyota pick-up truck on Friday night near Cheyenne Avenue and Jones Boulevard.
The collision occurred around 6:40 p.m., officials said. The victim was transported to University Medical Center Trauma, where he died, officials said.
Officials said the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
