Compared to Friday's penalty bonanza, Saturday's game between the Las Vegas Wranglers and Ontario Reign was relatively peaceful.
A night after the two teams combined for 102 minutes, the two teams only combined for 36, as the Reign finished a two-game sweep of the Wranglers with a 4-0 victory Saturday at the Orleans Arena.
It was the first time the Wranglers failed to find the net this season, and they fell to 3-3-0-1.
Colton Yellow Horn scored two goals for the Reign (6-4-0-0). The first game came 96 seconds into the game, and the second was 36 seconds into the third period.
Brock Sheahan had a pair of assists and scored a goal at the 9:08 mark in the third. C.J. Stretch was the final Reign to find the net, needing only 16 seconds to score his goal, which also came in the final 20 minutes.
Chris Carrozzi was impressive between the pipes for Ontario, making 27 saves in the shutout effort.
The Wranglers went to a different goaltender, starting Mitch O'Keefe in place of Joe Fallon, who has struggled recently. O'Keefe didn't fare much better, but he made 27 saves in the losing effort.
Las Vegas had six power-play opportunities and was outshot 31-27.
Up next for Las Vegas is a three-game set against Alaska beginning Wednesday.
