Multiple lanes on Interstate 15 North and South will be closed from Lake Mead Boulevard to Cheyenne Avenue starting at 9 p.m. today.
The lanes will be reduced while construction continues on the North 5th Street Bridge over the interstate. City of North Las Vegas spokeswoman Juliet Casey said the lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. today to 5 a.m. Thursday, and then again from 9 p.m. Thursday to 5:30 a.m. Friday.
The $30 million bridge improvement is part of the city’s North 5th Street Arterial Project and is expected to be finished in 2013, Casey said.
