Former President Bill Clinton will be in Las Vegas next week with dual purposes: campaigning on behalf of President Barack Obama and speaking at a UNLV Foundation event.

Obama for America, the president’s campaign committee, this morning confirmed Clinton would travel to Las Vegas on Tuesday for an Obama campaign event. The campaign did not announce further details.

Additionally, Clinton will speak Tuesday evening at the 2012 UNLV Foundation Annual Dinner. The sold-out event will begin with a reception at 5:15 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:15 at the Bellagio's Tower Ballroom.
